Actor Byun Woo-seok began the new year with another meaningful act of giving.

Yonsei University's Severance Hospital announced on January 2 that Byun donated 100 million won on January 1 to support treatment for pediatric and adolescent patients.

Byun shared that he was glad to take part in supporting children's happier futures, adding that he hopes the donation will provide real help in their treatment and recovery. He also expressed his wish that everyone embraces hope in 2026, pledging to continue practicing generosity in the years ahead.

This marks another chapter in his ongoing philanthropy. In 2024, Byun previously donated 300 million won to the same hospital for pediatric patient care.

A hospital representative conveyed gratitude for his continued support, stating that Severance Hospital will do its utmost to pass on hope to even more patients going forward.
