A new mystery thriller is set to unite Ryeoun, Sung Dong-il, and Geum Sae-rok.
The Walt Disney Company Korea confirmed that its original series Bloody Flower will premiere on February 4, unveiling its teaser poster alongside the announcement.
Bloody Flower poses a provocative question: what if a serial killer's motive for murder was to develop a cure for an incurable disease? The series blends mystery and thriller elements to explore moral gray zones and extreme choices.
Ryeoun stars as Lee Woo-gyeom, a murderer possessing extraordinary medical skills capable of saving the world. Sung Dong-il plays Park Han-joon, a lawyer driven by desperation to save his ailing daughter, while Geum Sae-rok takes on the role of Cha Yi-yeon, a privileged prosecutor born into wealth.
Through their intertwined fates, the drama raises unsettling dilemmas: should a killer's life be preserved if it could save many others, and what judgment would we make in that position?
The teaser poster visually captures the tense standoff among the three characters. Lee Woo-gyeom wears an enigmatic expression, while Park Han-joon and Cha Yi-yeon look in opposite directions, hinting at clashing beliefs and choices.
Bloody Flower will debut with Episodes 1 and 2 on February 4, followed by two new episodes released weekly.
