The production team of Netflix's Black and White Chef: Culinary Class Wars Season 2 has announced a firm legal response to malicious attacks targeting participating chefs.
On January 6, the producers released an official statement via Studio Slam's YouTube channel, revealing that specific chefs have been subjected to personal attacks, malicious comments, and even defamatory messages sent directly to their personal social media accounts.
They stressed that such actions go beyond criticism, severely damaging the reputation of chefs who have dedicated their lives to their craft, while also leaving deep emotional scars on non-celebrity participants.
The production team confirmed that they are actively collecting evidence of defamatory posts and messages involving personal insults and character attacks. They made it clear that there will be no leniency, warning of strong legal action against malicious slander and defamation.
"We ask for viewers' mature viewing culture and consideration," the statement concluded. "Constructive criticism is welcome, but attacks that cross the line into harassment and personal abuse must stop."
