Actor Choi Woo-shik is returning to the big screen with a heartfelt family healing drama.

On January 6, distributor By4M Studio announced that the new film Number One will officially hit theaters on February 11, marking the year's first all-ages emotional release. The film is directed by Kim Tae-yong.

"Number One" follows the story of a son who begins seeing numbers whenever he eats his mother's cooking. After realizing those numbers represent the time she has left, he struggles to protect her, turning everyday meals into moments filled with love and fear.

Choi Woo-shik stars as Ha-min, reuniting with Jang Hye-jin as his mother. The two previously portrayed a memorable mother-son dynamic in Parasite, raising anticipation for their on-screen chemistry once again.

The film deepens its emotional tension through the unique premise that only Ha-min can see the countdown tied to his mother's meals, heightening curiosity about how their bond will unfold.

Gong Seung-yeon also joins the cast as Ryeo-eun, Ha-min's girlfriend, offering support and adding warmth and dimension to the story.

Director Kim Tae-yong, known for his delicate and restrained storytelling, makes his return to feature-length films 11 years after The Treacherous Teacher, drawing further attention from film fans.

"Number One" opens in theaters on February 11.
