Rookie girl group USPEER has officially concluded its relationship with WM Entertainment.
On January 6, WM Entertainment announced that USPEER's exclusive contract ended on December 31 of last year. The decision comes just six months after the group's debut.
The agency explained that discussions were held with priority given to the team's long-term growth and future potential, rather than the company's immediate interests. Following extensive talks with producer Lee Won-min, who oversaw USPEER's creation, both sides amicably finalized matters related to the exclusive contract and trademark rights.
Industry insiders suggest that USPEER is likely to continue working alongside Lee Won-min, the former CEO of WM Entertainment, who stepped down last year amid management challenges.
WM Entertainment added that both parties will maintain close cooperation to ensure the members can continue their activities smoothly, pledging full support as they move forward. The company also expressed continued encouragement for USPEER's growth as artists and asked fans to keep showing warm support and interest.
USPEER previously drew attention as the junior group of OH MY GIRL. Their name reflects the ambition to understand the essence of the world and create a better future.
