SEVENTEEN placed six albums on Korea's year-end album charts in 2025, marking the most entries by a single act for the year.
According to Circle Chart's 2025 Year-End Chart released on January 9, SEVENTEEN secured three spots in the Album Top 100 with their 5th studio album's standard edition (No. 2), Kit version (No. 94), and Weverse version (No. 99).
Unit releases also performed strongly. S.Coups x Mingyu's first mini album (standard edition) ranked No. 24, BSS's second single album (standard edition) came in at No. 45, and Hoshi x Woozi's first single album (standard edition) placed No. 61.
SEVENTEEN's 5th studio album HAPPY BURSTDAY surpassed 3 million copies in cumulative sales, becoming the group's seventh triple-million seller.
Global Chart Momentum
The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, extending SEVENTEEN's streak to seven consecutive albums entering the Top 10.
The title track "THUNDER" ranked across four categories—Global K-pop, Digital, Download, and Streaming—on Circle Chart's 2025 year-end listings. The song was also named to The Hollywood Reporter's "The 40 Best K-pop Songs of 2025."
Units Prove Their Range
SEVENTEEN highlighted their versatility with three unit releases last year. BSS topped album charts, Hoshi x Woozi sold out fan concerts, and S.Coups x Mingyu posted the highest Billboard 200 peak for a K-pop unit at No. 71.
Meanwhile, THE 8, Mingyu, and Vernon earned a nomination at the iHeartRadio Music Awards for "Illegal + SEVENTEEN," a collaboration with PinkPantheress.
What's Next
SEVENTEEN's pace continues into 2026. DK x Seungkwan will release their first mini album SOYAGOK on January 12, while S.Coups x Mingyu are set to perform both domestically and overseas.
