Park Gun-wook of ZEROBASEONE shared a meaningful act of kindness to celebrate his birthday, extending help to children facing food insecurity.
On January 10, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that Park donated 11 million KRW to support underprivileged children at risk of missing meals. The funds will be used to assist children affected by care gaps, poverty, and neglect.
The donation will go toward tailored support programs, including weekday meal box deliveries, family activities, psychological counseling, and parenting coaching, all aimed at ensuring stable nutrition and healthy development.
"On my birthday, I wanted to share my heart in a small way," Park said. "I hope that even one warm meal can fill a child's day with comfort and become a small step toward nurturing their dreams and hopes."
Hope Bridge expressed gratitude, saying they will do their utmost to provide consistent meals and support children's healthy growth through this contribution.
Park has continued this tradition annually. On January 10 last year, he also donated 10 million KRW to support the families of victims affected by the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE is set to release their special limited album RE-FLOW on February 2. The group pre-released the track Running To Future on January 9.
