KATSEYE has set a new career best on the UK Official Singles Chart with their latest release.

On January 10, the UK Official Singles Chart revealed its latest rankings for the January 9–15 tracking period. KATSEYE's new single Internet Girl debuted at No.24, marking the group's highest placement on the chart to date.

The achievement surpasses their previous record set by Gabriela, which peaked at No.38. With "Internet Girl," KATSEYE exceeded that milestone in its very first week of release.

Momentum is building in the United States as well. "Internet Girl" climbed to No.19 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs USA chart for January 2–8, also the group's best result on that ranking. The track additionally reached No.31 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart.

Built on a dance-pop sound, "Internet Girl" playfully addresses the flood of opinions and reactions that circulate online. Its sharp, witty lyrics and the viral "emoji dance," where performers briefly cover their faces before instantly switching expressions, have fueled its popularity.

KATSEYE debuted in the United States in June 2024 and continues to show remarkable impact for a rookie act. The group has already been named a nominee at the Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the upcoming 68th ceremony.
