Rookie boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE officially enters the K-pop scene today, marking the beginning of their long-awaited journey.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE release their first mini album 'EUPHORIA' on January 12. The album captures the moment of exhilaration when the members finally come together as one complete team.
'EUPHORIA' features six tracks in total. Alongside the pre-release song 'FORMULA,' the album includes the title track 'FREAK ALARM.'
Also on the tracklist are 'Raw Flame,' 'Chains,' 'Never Been 2 Heaven,' and 'Cinnamon Shake,' showcasing a wide range of sounds and energy.
'FORMULA' serves as a declaration of unity, signaling ALPHA DRIVE ONE's identity as "one team." The title track 'FREAK ALARM' compares the group's emergence as a complete unit to a powerful "first alarm," announcing their presence to the world.
The album also reinterprets competition songs from Mnet's 'BOYS II PLANET.' Tracks such as 'Chains' and 'Never Been 2 Heaven' return with a broader scale and upgraded intensity.
The group name ALPHA DRIVE ONE combines "Alpha," representing the pursuit of the top, "Drive," symbolizing passion and momentum, and "One," meaning unity. The group aims to deliver what they describe as pure "K-pop catharsis."
Their agency stated, "After a long period of preparation, ALPHA DRIVE ONE are finally setting off. We ask for your continued interest and support as they take their first steps."
'EUPHORIA' is available on all major music platforms today at 6 p.m.
