Jihoon of TWS is grieving the passing of his father.

On January 12, Pledis Entertainment shared the heartbreaking news, saying Jihoon's father passed away on the evening of January 11 after his condition rapidly worsened during an ongoing illness. Jihoon is currently staying by the funeral altar.

The agency added that the funeral will be held privately, attended only by family and close relatives in accordance with the family's wishes, and asked for warm condolences so Jihoon can have sufficient time to mourn with his loved ones.

Earlier this month, TWS won the Best Performance Award at the Golden Disc Awards held at Taipei Dome. The group is also set to hold its first standalone Greater China concert on January 24–25 at the Studio City Event Center.
