Joshua of SEVENTEEN made a rare appearance on the Golden Globes red carpet, marking a standout moment for a K-pop artist at one of Hollywood's most prestigious award shows.
On January 12 (KST), Joshua attended the 83rd Golden Globe Awards as an official guest at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Invitations to the Golden Globes are uncommon for K-pop artists, underscoring the global scope of the ceremony that honors achievements in film and television worldwide.
In an interview with Billboard, Joshua shared his excitement. He said the experience felt surreal at first, but seeing familiar faces quickly put him at ease.

He also hinted at future acting ambitions. Joshua revealed that he hopes to appear in a U.S. comedy sitcom one day, noting that he grew up watching and loving those shows.
The conversation touched on SEVENTEEN's ongoing military hiatus as well. Following Jeonghan's start of alternative service last September, Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi are currently fulfilling their duties, with Jeonghan set to be discharged in June. Joshua expressed optimism, saying the period could help members grow individually as solo artists and ultimately create even greater synergy when the group reunites.
This year's Golden Globes red carpet also featured global stars such as Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, Dakota Fanning, and Mark Ruffalo.
