Belift Lab Partners with Korean Red Cross as ENHYPEN Joins Blood Donation Campaign
by. ymchoi

Belift Lab has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korean Red Cross to promote blood donation awareness and expand a culture of giving.

The agreement was officially announced on January 13, with the signing ceremony held a day earlier at HYBE's headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul. Representatives from both organizations attended the event, along with ENHYPEN.

ENHYPEN's leader Jungwon shared his thoughts at the ceremony, describing blood donation as "a form of sharing where small acts of courage come together to protect someone's day—and their life." He added that it was an honor to help spread the message through such a meaningful campaign, expressing hope that the initiative would contribute to a warmer society.

Through this partnership, Belift Lab and the Korean Red Cross plan to collaborate on ENHYPEN-led social contribution programs, including ongoing support for establishing a sustainable blood donation culture among younger generations.

The collaboration also draws attention for its symbolic connection to ENHYPEN's artistic narrative. The group has consistently explored a vampire motif in its album storytelling, which continues in its upcoming seventh mini album THE SIN : VANISH, set for release on January 16. The album depicts a forbidden romance between humans and vampires, creating a unique thematic link between vampires and blood donation.

Belift Lab CEO Kim Tae-ho noted that ENHYPEN's team name represents the idea of different beings connecting and expanding into a larger world through those connections. He explained that this collaboration puts that philosophy into real-world practice, hoping the group's narrative and message will align with the life-saving value of blood donation and resonate as a meaningful experience for young people.

The Korean Red Cross emphasized the urgency of blood donation in Korea, stating that one unit of blood product is transfused every seven seconds nationwide. The organization expressed hope that this MOU would serve as a starting point for long-term expansion of blood donation culture.

Belift Lab also revealed plans to extend the initiative beyond Korea, with future offline collaborations under consideration with the Japanese Red Cross.
