Gaeko of Dynamic Duo has announced his divorce from businesswoman Kim Soo‑mi, ending their marriage after 14 years.

On January 16, Gaeko shared a statement on social media, saying, "After many conversations last year, we decided to conclude our marital relationship while respecting each other's lives."

The couple will continue to share joint responsibility for raising their two children. Gaeko added, "As parents, we will continue to fulfill our roles through shared custody."

Kim Soo-mi also addressed the news carefully, explaining, "As this is a personal matter, I ask for understanding. We chose to reorganize our relationship as spouses out of respect for each other's lives."

She further requested restraint from speculation, asking the public to watch over them with warmth rather than excessive interest or hasty interpretations.

Gaeko and Kim Soo-mi were married in 2011 and have one son and one daughter together.
