IVE is set to make a comeback in late February.
On January 16, Starship Entertainment confirmed via phone call that IVE is currently working toward a late-February release. The agency added that detailed schedules will be announced at a later date, asking fans to look forward to the return.
This marks IVE's first comeback in roughly six months. The group last released their fourth mini album IVE SECRET in August, featuring six tracks including the title song "XOXZ."
"XOXZ" is an IVE-style coined phrase meaning "I love you—sleep well, see you in your dreams," expressing layered emotions through a sleek, sensorial sound. Upon release, the track swept major Korean charts, debuting at No. 1 on Melon's Hot 100 and topping VIBE's domestic rising chart.
Global listeners also responded strongly. The album entered multiple Billboard charts, including Top Current Album Sales, Top Album Sales, and Global (Excl. U.S.).
Meanwhile, IVE will continue meeting fans worldwide with their second world tour, holding a concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka in April.
