Actress Nana has been cleared of all charges after police concluded that her actions constituted legitimate self-defense.

On January 16, the Guri Police Station in Gyeonggi Province decided not to forward the case involving allegations of attempted murder and aggravated assault filed against Nana, determining there was no criminal suspicion.

The accuser, identified as A, had filed a complaint in December, claiming that Nana's actions while restraining him amounted to attempted murder and aggravated injury. Investigations revealed that A had climbed a ladder to break into Nana's residence, threatened her with a weapon, and demanded money.

Nana reportedly engaged in a physical struggle to subdue the intruder before contacting the police. During the incident, Nana and her mother sustained injuries, while A suffered a wound to his jaw. A later claimed he was injured by a weapon and submitted a formal complaint.

Police questioned Nana as a suspect on January 8. After reviewing the case, authorities concluded that her actions were necessary to prevent a crime and therefore qualified as self-defense.

Her agency, Sublime Artist Agency, previously stated that the perpetrator was exploiting Nana's status as a public figure to cause secondary harm, emphasizing that Nana and her family suffered serious physical and emotional trauma.

A representative added that the pain endured by the victim continues to this day, stressing that A has shown no signs of remorse and that the agency is considering all possible legal actions against the perpetrator.
