BLACKPINK has added another major milestone to its U.S. achievements.
On January 16, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced via its official website that BLACKPINK's single "JUMP" has officially earned Gold certification.
The RIAA awards certifications by combining U.S. physical sales, paid downloads, and streaming figures, with thresholds set at Gold (500,000 units), Platinum (1 million), and Multi-Platinum (2 million).
According to the official record, "JUMP" surpassed 500,000 units as of December 11 last year, equivalent to 75 million streams. Notably, the certification was achieved solely through streaming, without any physical album release.
"JUMP" also set a new benchmark on Spotify, becoming the fastest song by a K-pop girl group to exceed 300 million streams. The track has remained on Billboard's Hot 100 for 10 consecutive weeks and the Global 200 for 26 weeks, highlighting its sustained global popularity.
Beyond the U.S., the song's impact has been felt worldwide. "JUMP" received Platinum certifications in Canada and France, while earning Gold certifications in Australia, Belgium, New Zealand, and the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to return next month with their third mini album, DEADLINE, scheduled for release on February 27.
