by. ymchoi

CORTIS has been selected as an official partner of the National Basketball Association, joining the global initiative Friends of the NBA to promote the league across the Asia-Pacific region.

The NBA announced the collaboration on January 18, confirming CORTIS as its newest Friends of the NBA partner. The program connects the league with influential figures in the Asia-Pacific market to engage basketball fans through culture, entertainment, and lifestyle content.

As part of the partnership, CORTIS will participate in a wide range of NBA-related activities, including attending games and events, producing original content, collaborating on branded apparel, and taking part in league promotional campaigns.

CORTIS shared their thoughts on the milestone, saying that joining Friends of the NBA is an achievement they never imagined possible early in their debut days. The group added that they strongly relate to the NBA's creative and forward-thinking spirit and are excited to meet fans through a collaboration where sports and culture intersect.

Wayne Chang, Managing Director of NBA Asia, commented that next month's All-Star events in Los Angeles will serve as a starting point for delivering a new global experience that blends basketball with K-pop culture.

Meanwhile, CORTIS is set to headline the NBA Crossover Concert Series on February 12 in Los Angeles, marking another major step in their expanding presence on the global stage.
