V of BTS reveals a new side of his artistry through his latest photobook.
On January 19, V released TYPE 非, his second photobook following TYPE 1, which was published in 2024. While the first book captured his unfiltered daily moments, the new release explores a broader spectrum, moving freely across styles and genres to showcase a more experimental visual identity.
V was deeply involved from the planning stage through the entire shoot, pouring his personal sensibility into all 278 pages. The photobook is structured into 20 chapters that flow seamlessly as a single narrative, with V demonstrating his versatility through a wide range of concepts.
To celebrate the release, an offline exhibition titled V TYPE 非: On Site in Seoul will be held from January 20 to February 1 at Frieze House Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul. The exhibition is divided into a photo exhibition zone and a media art zone.
Visitors will follow the photobook's storyline as they move through the space, experiencing the images in a more immersive, three-dimensional format. Exclusive, never-before-seen photos and videos will also be available only at the exhibition site.
Meanwhile, BTS is set to release their fifth full-length album ARIRANG on March 20.
