Jungmo of CRAVITY is officially stepping into acting, taking on a leading role from his very first project.
On January 19, Starship Entertainment confirmed that Jungmo has been cast in the short-form drama I'm Not a Killer, I'm a Writer, marking his debut as an actor. The agency shared that Jungmo will present a completely new side of himself through this project.
The series is an action comedy centered on an aspiring writer named Dokgo Jin, who becomes possessed by the body of elite killer Baek Do-yoon. The story follows his chaotic struggle to complete a drama while navigating life in someone else's body.
Jungmo takes on a challenging dual role, portraying both Dokgo Jin and Baek Do-yoon. Though Dokgo Jin is an unjustly killed aspiring writer, he is resurrected in the body of a professional assassin, creating sharp contrasts in personality, occupation, and emotional tone.
A production source commented, "Jungmo has limitless potential. He will showcase both his dual charm and dynamic action through this role."
As CRAVITY's lead vocalist, Jungmo has consistently proven his musicality and performance skills, while also standing out across various content and variety formats. His acting debut adds another dimension to his growing artistic range.
I'm Not a Killer, I'm a Writer was exclusively released in Japan on January 16 via the platform Canta and is available for download through the Japanese Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
