Actors Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo shared key viewing points ahead of the theatrical release of the film Project Y.

Project Y, directed by Lee Hwan, follows two women who have nothing but each other and steal black money in an attempt to escape their harsh reality. The film stars Han So-hee, Jeon Jong-seo, and Kim Shin-rok.

One major highlight is the lineup of characters. Seven distinct personalities collide around the stolen money, creating constant tension and unpredictable conflicts. From Mi-seon (Han So-hee) and Do-kyung (Jeon Jong-seo) to Ga-young (Kim Shin-rok), Hwang-so (Jung Young-joo), Seok-gu (Lee Jae-kyun), Ha-kyung (Yoo Ah), and To-sajang (Kim Sung-cheol), each character drives the story in a different way.

Director Lee Hwan explained that the film began with curiosity about human desire, adding that as the story expanded, he wanted to create a character-driven film filled with clashing ambitions.

The fast-paced narrative is another key point. Just as Mi-seon and Do-kyung glimpse the life they have always dreamed of, everything collapses, sending the story in an entirely unexpected direction.

Jeon Jong-seo picked her favorite moment as the scene where they discover the gold bars, recalling how striking it was to see the characters celebrate despite the chaos already unfolding.

The opening sequence also stands out. The two women walk through an underground passage lit with colorful lights, accompanied by the OST FOOL FOR YOU. The scene pays homage to Millennium Mambo, with the director requesting a more cinematic sound from the music director.

Han So-hee pointed to a quiet yet meaningful moment as her favorite, describing the scene where the two friends walk forward without answers, wondering how they should live from that point on.

Project Y opens in theaters on January 21.
