VERIVERY's Kangmin has been confirmed as the lead of a premium short-form drama set to drop in February.

An "Outsider" Who Becomes a Teleporting Live Star

According to Jellyfish Entertainment, Kangmin stars in Jump Boy LIVE, a human-centered sci-fi hero series released through the short-form platform Kitts. He plays Ion, an overlooked outsider at school and on social media.

Everything flips during a meteor shower. While streaming live, Ion accidentally picks up a meteor fragment and gains the power to teleport. His "teleportation live streams" turn him into a mega influencer overnight—pulling him into unwanted attention, chaos, and unpredictable situations as he tries to figure out who he wants to be.

From Web Drama Debut to a New Lead Role

Kangmin previously began acting in the 2023 web drama If You Just Touch Your Finger, showing range by portraying a secretive character pushed into an enforced "popular kid" life.

Kangmin will also meet fans in Seoul with his solo fan meeting 2026 Kangmin Fan Meeting Chanrok Sigwang: Dyed in Radiant Light, scheduled for January 31 and February 1 at Yonsei University's Centennial Memorial Hall Concert Hall.
