Park Hyo Shin is set to make his long-awaited return with a new album slated for release in March.
On January 23, a representative from his agency Herbigharo confirmed in a phone call that Park Hyo Shin is preparing a comeback with the goal of releasing new music in March.
Attention is focused on whether this will mark his first full-length album in a decade. Park Hyo Shin last released a studio album in 2016 with his seventh full album I Am A Dreamer.
In the years since, he has stayed active through OSTs and singles. In 2024, he released "Hero" for the film The Firefighters directed by Kwak Kyung-taek, and also collaborated with BTS's V on the jazz track "Winter Ahead."
Back in 2023, Park Hyo Shin previewed the unreleased song "ALICE" during his fan meeting STPD 2023 Going Home, where he also hinted at a forthcoming eighth full-length album. At the time, he shared, "The thoughts that had been drifting are starting to come together, and I'm preparing. I really want to show it to you soon. I'll let you hear it shortly."
His agency added that specific details, including the exact release date and album information, have yet to be finalized and will be announced once confirmed.
