SMTR25 Steps Into Reality TV as SM Signals New Boy Group Launch
by. ymchoi

SM Entertainment's male trainee team SMTR25 is set to step into the spotlight through a new reality program.

Mnet's new show Answer Me: High School will premiere on February 13 at 8:20 p.m. The program is a collaborative variety project produced by SM Entertainment and Egg Is Coming.

Answer Me: High School is a time-slip reality series in which SMTR25 enrolls in a fictional school called Friendship High. The trainees experience K-culture from the 1990s through the 2010s firsthand, naturally searching for answers about debut along the way.

SMTR25 consists of 15 trainees. In January last year, Hamin and Nicholas were first introduced through SM's 30th-anniversary brand film The Culture.

Hanbi, Songha, Daniel, Hyunjoon, Kassho, Justin, Haruta, Kachin, and Tata made a strong impression through a special performance for SM's 30th anniversary and a cover of EXO's "Wolf."

Previously unrevealed trainees Jaewon, Ulin, Sadaharu, and Charlie will also join the lineup. Beyond their stage charisma, the show will highlight their youthful, everyday trainee lives.

Earlier this month, SM Entertainment released the "SM NEXT 3.0" video on its official SNS channels, signaling the debut of a new boy group this year. Answer Me: High School is expected to serve as the group's first major introduction.
