Starship Entertainment stated that "Forever Cherry," recently mentioned in connection with Jang Wonyoung, is a brand collaboration project and not her personal business.

The agency explained that the name reflects the artist's unique identity and image. To prevent indiscriminate commercial exploitation or brand misuse by third parties after the project concludes, the trademark application was filed under Jang Wonyoung's name.

Starship further noted that the broad scope of the trademark application is a proactive measure designed to defend against potential misuse of the artist's image across various industries.
