NOWZ Sets Official Japan Debut in March With YRD Leo Feature
by. ymchoi

NOWZ is officially expanding into Japan.

The group will release its first Japanese mini album NOWZ on March 4. The album includes five tracks: the title song AMMO, along with Home Run, Get Buck, In an Unnamed World, and Fly Freely.

AMMO is a hard-hitting hip-hop track featuring Japanese rapper YRD Leo. Known for his emotional lyricism and distinctive tone, YRD Leo delivers a standout verse that elevates the song's intensity.

The remaining tracks are Japanese reinterpretations of NOWZ's previously released Korean songs. Home Run, Get Buck, and In an Unnamed World were originally included in the group's third single album Play Ball, released last year. Fly Freely appeared on their first mini album Ignition.

To celebrate the album release, NOWZ will hold a series of offline events in Japan. Mini live performances and special fan events are scheduled for March 5–6 at Tower Records Shibuya in Tokyo, followed by fan events on March 7–8 at LaLaport Tokyo Bay.

NOWZ continues to gain traction as a next-generation global boy group. In October last year, the group was selected as Billboard's K-Pop Rookie of the Month. Their track Everglow, the title song from Ignition, was also named a Billboard2025 Best K-Pop staff pick.
