Netflix's mystery variety series Agents of Mystery 2 is coming back with Season 2, promising a significantly expanded scale.

On January 29 (KST), Netflix announced that Agents of Mystery 2 will return with "cases beyond imagination," confirming its February release.

The new season is the sequel to Agents of Mystery (2024), once again helmed by producer Jung Jong-yeon, known for The Great Escape. The series aims to reignite viewers' investigative instincts with more evolved cases, strengthened mystery elements, and upgraded story devices.

Most of the original cast returns, including Lee Yong-jin, Lee Eun-ji, Lee Hye-ri, Kim Do-hoon, John Park, and Karina. Dancer and entertainer Gabee joins the lineup as a new member.

The teaser heightened anticipation, opening an unpredictable mystery and showing the team visibly tense as they face a new case. Striking visuals followed, including a narration—"Welcome back to XIN's operations"—as the group heads toward a darkened lake, amplifying curiosity.

Producer Jung said he introduced a "disruptive storyline from the very first episode" to break away from confined settings, adding that viewers can look forward to the team's standout performances. He also emphasized the show's appeal: "If you want the thrill and spectacle of dramas and films combined with the raw realism of unscripted content, Agents of Mystery delivers."

Agents of Mystery 2 premieres on Netflix on February 27.
