BTS continues to prove its enduring popularity in Japan, adding new streaming certifications to its record.
On January 30, the Recording Industry Association of Japan announced its latest streaming certifications. BTS's anthology album title track "Yet To Come" received Platinum certification, marking over 100 million cumulative streams.
Another track also showed steady long-term performance. "Love Maze," from the group's third full-length album LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear, was awarded Gold certification.
Under the association's streaming criteria, certifications are divided by total plays: Diamond (500 million streams), Platinum (100 million), and Gold (50 million).
BTS now holds a total of 16 certified songs in Japan. Among them, "Dynamite" and "Butter" have achieved Diamond status, a first for a K-pop act.
"Yet To Come" reflects BTS's musical journey so far while looking ahead to a brighter future, while "Love Maze" delivers a heartfelt message to ARMY.
Meanwhile, BTS is preparing for a full-group comeback after approximately three years and nine months. The group is set to release its fifth full-length album, "ARIRANG," on March 20.
