Doyoung of NCT marked his birthday by making a meaningful donation to support youth preparing for independent living.

On January 30, World Vision announced that Doyoung donated KRW 100 million to help young adults transitioning out of care. The decision was made out of empathy for the challenges faced by these youths as they begin independent lives.

The donation will support 21 youths, covering essential needs such as housing costs and emergency living expenses to help them maintain stability in their daily lives.

"I want to be a small help to everyone who is dreaming," Doyoung said. "I will continue to dream endlessly, just as I always have."

World Vision stated that Doyoung continued his support even while serving in the military, adding that the organization will ensure the donation leads to tangible improvements in the lives of the recipients.

This is not his first act of giving. In October last year, Doyoung also donated KRW 100 million through World Vision to support the construction of a school in Bugondo, Uganda, contributing to better educational facilities for local children.

Meanwhile, Doyoung enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the South Korean Army in December last year.
