Chaeryeong of ITZY lends her voice to a sweet new drama OST.
Chaeryeong released "Midnight Glow," an OST for SBS's new Friday–Saturday drama From Today, I'm Human, adding a lovely romantic sensibility to the show's love story.
"From Today, I'm Human" is a fantasy romantic comedy about Eunho, an MZ-generation gumiho who doesn't want to become human (played by Kim Hye-yoon), and Kang Si-yeol, a self-absorbed soccer player (played by Lomon), as they fall in love.
"Midnight Glow" is a city pop track that blends refreshing textures with a fluttering mood. Chaeryeong captures the nervous excitement of love's first spark with her soft, sweet vocals.
In episode four, which aired on Jan. 24, the drama signaled the true beginning of the romance as Eunho, now human, teams up with Kang Si-yeol to reclaim her destiny. The pair set off in search of another gumiho, deepening their connection.
A production source said Chaeryeong's voice "shines with excitement, like neon lights wrapping the city night," adding that the song will richly enhance the romance between Eunho and Kang Si-yeol.
"Midnight Glow" was released across major music platforms at 6 p.m. on Jan. 30.
