Minju of ILLIT has shared her farewell message as she steps down from her role as an MC on Music Bank. Her final broadcast aired on January 30, marking the conclusion of approximately one year and three months as a host. On the day, fellow ILLIT members made a surprise appearance to cheer her on.
Through her agency on January 31, Minju reflected on the experience, saying it was an honor to spend every week with talented artists, GLIT (ILLIT's fandom), and the warm production staff. She admitted to mixed emotions, adding that Fridays may feel empty for a while, but promised to return with stronger performances as ILLIT's Minju.
She also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn so much during her MC tenure, noting that the time spent on Music Bank will remain a cherished memory, and thanked viewers for their continued support.
Minju began hosting Music Bank in October 2024, earning praise for her bright energy and steady delivery on live broadcasts. Alongside the weekly show, she also led the KBS Kpop YouTube web series Minju's Pink Cabinet and served as an MC for the 2025 KBS Song Festival, further proving her versatility.
