BIGBANG's Daesung brought his Japan encore concerts to a powerful close, marking the finale of a long-running tour with overwhelming energy.

Daesung held "DAESUNG 2025 ASIA TOUR: D's WAVE ENCORE IN JAPAN" in Osaka on January 31 and February 1, drawing fans for a two-night celebration of his solo journey. He opened the show with "Universe," the title track from his first mini album, followed by crowd favorites including "Seems Like Being Alone Suits Me" and "A Single Rose."

The setlist highlighted versatility. Daesung delivered playful cover stages, reinterpreting solo tracks by Taeyang and G-Dragon in his own style, while a BIGBANG medley stood out as an unmissable highlight for longtime fans.

Reflecting on the tour, Daesung shared, "I've finally put a period on a long journey that's been nonstop since last year. Every moment was happier than words can describe." He added, "This tour was only possible because of you. As long as my voice allows, I'll keep standing in front of you and singing."

He also hinted at what lies ahead. "With BIGBANG's 20th anniversary coming up this year, I'll take a brief breath and return in a way that lives up to the name 'Dae' for big and 'Sung' for voice."

Daesung's "D's WAVE" tour ran for nearly ten months starting last April, covering 11 cities worldwide including Seoul, Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, and Sydney. Following multiple sell-outs, encore concerts were added in both Seoul and Japan. His agency noted expectations are high for Daesung to continue active promotions across both group and solo projects.
