JYP China has partnered with CJ ENM to establish a new joint venture aimed at expanding its footprint across Greater China.

On February 2, JYP Entertainment announced that JYP China and Tencent Music Entertainment's NCC Entertainment will co-found a new local corporation with CJ ENM named ONETHIRD. The label name combines JYP's motto "Leader in Entertainment" with CJ ENM's core value "OnlyOne," signaling a collaborative music business strategy.

ONETHIRD's first project will be the management of rookie boy group MODYSSEY, which was formed last year through the Mnet Plus survival program Planet C: Home Race.

Beyond artist management, the new label plans to build a diversified portfolio spanning music production, live performances, and merchandise, with a focus on nurturing and scaling next-generation artists.

MODYSSEY is expected to center its activities in the Greater China region. The group's official debut timeline has not yet been finalized.
