LE SSERAFIM is set to take the stage at a major Japanese music festival for the first time.
Source Music announced on February 2 that LE SSERAFIM will perform at SUMMER SONIC 2026, Japan's largest music festival, scheduled for this August.
SUMMER SONIC is Asia's leading urban music festival, taking place from August 14 to 16 across Tokyo's ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe, as well as Osaka's Expo '70 Commemorative Park.
The festival has hosted a lineup of global artists over the years. Korean acts who have previously appeared include Seo Taiji, BTS, SEVENTEEN, NCT DREAM, NewJeans, i-dle, RIIZE, and KickFlip.
This marks LE SSERAFIM's first appearance at SUMMER SONIC, made possible by their strong popularity in Japan. With their first Japanese single album, they became the first fourth-generation K-pop girl group to earn five consecutive Gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
Last year, the group successfully held their 2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT' at Tokyo Dome, drawing approximately 80,000 fans across two nights.
LE SSERAFIM shared, "As this is our first time performing at SUMMER SONIC, we're preparing hard to have a great time with the audience. Please look forward to it."
Meanwhile, the group recently wrapped up the finale of their 'EASY CRAZY HOT' tour at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.
