Actor Kim Myung Soo has confirmed his starring role in the upcoming drama Empathy Cell.

Empathy Cell is a romance drama that follows a woman who denies empathy and a man burdened with it, as they come to share each other's emotions. The series promises delicate psychological storytelling and a fresh dynamic between its leads.

Kim Myung Soo will portray Cha Eun Hwan, a man who carries the emotions of others to an extreme degree. Eun Hwan is a psychological counseling expert who has gained popularity through his unconventional methods, until an unexpected incident disrupts his everyday life.

The actor has steadily built his filmography through works including Perfect Family, Dare to Love Me, Numbers, Royal Secret Agent, Meow, the Secret Boy, Angel's Last Mission: Love, and Miss Hammurabi.

In this new project, Kim Myung Soo is set to move fluidly between reality and fantasy, delivering a layered performance that captures Eun Hwan's confusion and transformation under the premise of emotional transference.
