How to Become a Building Owner in Korea is gearing up for its premiere with intense acting chemistry at the forefront. On February 4, tvN revealed scenes from the drama's script reading, attended by Ha Jung Woo, Lim Soo Jung, Kim Jun Han, Krystal Jung, and Shim Eun Kyung.

The suspense drama centers on a debt-ridden, livelihood-driven building owner who becomes entangled in a fake kidnapping scheme to protect his family and his most valuable asset. As the stakes rise, the story unfolds with relentless tension and moral conflict.

Directed by Im Pil Sung, known for Antarctic Journal and Persona, the series is written by novelist Oh Han Ki. Their collaboration promises a distinctive narrative driven by sharp pacing and psychological depth.

Anticipation is especially high for the performances. Ha Jung Woo returns to television for the first time in 19 years, sharing his determination to create an engaging and memorable drama. Lim Soo Jung also makes her comeback to the small screen after five years, expressing excitement about challenging herself with a new character and revealing a different side of her acting.

Ha Jung Woo plays Gi Soo Jong, a family man buried under debt after purchasing a building through aggressive borrowing. Lim Soo Jung transforms into his wife, Kim Sun, who remains calm and decisive in moments of crisis, steering the family through escalating danger.

Industry insiders at the reading described the atmosphere as electric, noting that each page of the script sent chills through the room and that the two leads' dense, high-intensity chemistry dominated the set.

Kim Jun Han and Krystal Jung appear as a married couple, portraying ambition and inner emptiness, respectively. Shim Eun Kyung adds a striking presence as Yona, a mysterious operative at Real Capital, delivering an unsettling and powerful aura.
