Jeong Dong-won is greeting fans through music with a new release ahead of his military enlistment.
On February 5, he drops his remake mini album Souvenir Collection Vol.2 across major music platforms. The project continues his remake series following Souvenir Collection Vol.1.
The album carries a deeper emotional tone. It features two double title tracks: the original song A Road Where We Cross Today and Meet Again Tomorrow and a remake of Byun Jin-sub's classic To You, Once Again.
"A Road Where We Cross Today and Meet Again Tomorrow" is a folk-style ballad that offers sincere comfort to those navigating uncertain times. The lyrics focus on endurance, reassurance, and quiet hope.
"To You, Once Again," originally released in 1989, is reinterpreted through Jeong Dong-won's own emotional lens. While preserving the song's lyrical sensitivity, he adds a more contemporary and personal tone.
The album also revisits beloved songs that span generations, including Cho Hang-jo's "Lie," Kim Kwang-seok's "Letter from a Private," and Kim Jung-soo's "You," completing the warm narrative of Souvenir Collection Vol.2.
Jeong Dong-won is set to enlist in the Marine Corps on February 23. His agency described the album as "a message of gratitude to fans, a reflection on shared time, and a promise for the future."
Beyond the album release, he will meet fans in person at a fan concert on February 13 at KINTEX in Goyang, before beginning his mandatory military service.
