Shin Hye-sun meets viewers through the Netflix series Lady Dua.

Lady Dua is a mystery thriller that follows Sara Kim (Shin Hye-sun), a woman who wanted to become "luxury" even if it meant being fake, and Detective Moo-kyung (Lee Jun-hyuk), who tracks her desire.

Sara Kim is the branch head of "Boudoir," a luxury brand catering to the top 0.1 percent. Her name, age, background, and education are all shrouded in secrecy. One day, she appears out of nowhere and captivates everyone around her.

Behind the glamorous life, however, lies another face and an entirely different existence. Within the single name of Sara Kim, Shin Hye-sun moves between multiple lives and layered emotions, portraying a character of striking complexity.

Her duality is evident even in the stills. In one image, she radiates opulence in lavish jewelry, dresses, and bold makeup. In another, she appears plain and restrained, enduring a far more grounded reality.

The series is directed by Kim Jin-min, known for Extracurricular and My Name. Lady Dua premieres on February 13.
