Jisung of NCT DREAM marked his birthday with a meaningful act of giving, making a major donation to support medical research.
On February 5, Samsung Medical Center announced that Jisung donated KRW 250 million, requesting the funds be used for research into hard-to-treat diseases.
The contribution will specifically support pancreatic cancer research, including precision medicine initiatives, aiming to advance studies in diseases where a cure remains difficult.
Jisung shared, "Seeing patients suffer from illnesses that are hard to treat broke my heart. Though it's a small contribution, I hope it helps advance medical research." He added, "Thanks to the love and support of Czennies, I was able to take part in this donation. I want to give back and help create a warmer world."
Previously, in March last year, Jisung also donated KRW 50 million to aid recovery efforts for victims of wildfires in the Yeongnam region, supporting housing and livelihood restoration.
Meanwhile, NCT DREAM is set to hold the finale of its tour, 2026 NCT DREAM TOUR THE DREAM SHOW 4: FUTURE THE DREAM, in Seoul next month.
