Sunghoon of ENHYPEN took part in the Olympic torch relay, carrying the flame of peace on the global stage.
On February 6 (KST), Sunghoon served as a torchbearer for the 2026 Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy. His relay segment took place near Bolivar Station, where crowds of global fans gathered well before his appearance.
Fans filled the streets waving the Korean flag and holding banners reading "Sunghoon, fighting!" in Korean, turning the area into a sea of support and excitement. As Sunghoon received the torch, he ran his route for around 20 minutes, conveying the Olympic spirit of unity and solidarity amid loud cheers from spectators.
"Standing on the Olympic stage I once dreamed of as an athlete—now as a singer—feels incredibly moving," Sunghoon said. "I'm truly happy to be part of this honorable Olympic journey."

He also expressed gratitude to those who came out to support him. "Thanks to ENGENE and sports fans, I received an overwhelming amount of positive energy," he shared.
Sunghoon was appointed as a promotional ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee in May last year. Before debuting as an idol, he was a member of the national figure skating team's reserve squad, maintaining a deep connection with sports.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN's track "Shout Out," from their third mini album MANIFESTO : DAY 1, has been selected as an official Team Korea cheering song.
