LISA of BLACKPINK is taking on another acting challenge, confirming her lead role in a new Netflix original film.

On February 6 (KST), Netflix announced via social media that LISA has been cast as the female lead in an upcoming movie inspired by the classic romantic comedy Notting Hill.

The screenplay will be written by Katie Silberman, known for her work on romantic comedy titles such as Isn't It Romantic and Booksmart.

According to U.S. entertainment outlet Deadline, LISA will also participate as a producer on the project. She is set to collaborate with David Bernard, who previously served as an executive producer on HBO's The White Lotus Season 3.

The film will be produced by Bernard's company, Middle Child Productions. LISA will contribute not only as the lead actress but also as a producer, expanding her role behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, LISA is currently filming the Netflix movie Tygo. She is also preparing for BLACKPINK's full-group comeback, scheduled for release on February 27.
