LE SSERAFIM has been nominated in a major category at the Korean Music Awards.
The Korean Music Awards selection committee announced this year's nominees on February 5, naming LE SSERAFIM's "Spaghetti (feat. j-hope of BTS)" as a contender for Best K-Pop Song.
The category recognizes tracks with outstanding musicality, creativity, and overall completion, placing strong emphasis on artistic merit. Winners are selected through evaluations by critics, producers, and industry experts.
"Spaghetti" serves as the title track from LE SSERAFIM's first single album. Members Sakura and Huh Yunjin participated in the songwriting process, likening the group's lingering, hard-to-forget presence to a plate of tangled spaghetti.
The song blends alternative punk pop elements, with its repetitive hook and kitschy lyrics creating a highly addictive appeal. It fueled global challenge trends and drew strong support from international fans.
Within seven weeks of release, "Spaghetti" surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. It also set new career highs for the group, ranking No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 46 on the UK Official Singles Top 100.
The Korean Music Awards marks its 23rd edition this year. The ceremony will take place on February 26 and will be broadcast live via the Korean Music Awards' official YouTube channel and Melon.
