T.O.P, formerly of BIGBANG, is preparing to release his first solo track in 13 years, with actress Nana appearing in the music video.

On February 9, a representative from Sublime confirmed that Nana filmed the music video for T.O.P's new song last year. It is reported that the head of T.O.P's management previously served as Nana's manager.

T.O.P first hinted at his comeback on January 1 through his personal Instagram, posting, "A NEW ALBUM IS ON THE WAY," along with the phrase "ANOTHER DIMENSION," signaling a long-awaited return to music.

The upcoming release marks his first solo work since the digital single "DOOM DADA" in 2013, which was released during BIGBANG's peak era and gained widespread attention for his deep vocal tone and rhythmic rap style.

After halting activities in 2016 following a marijuana-related controversy, T.O.P repeatedly suggested retirement from the entertainment industry and officially departed BIGBANG in 2023. He made his return in December 2024 through the Netflix series Squid Game 2, where he reflected in interviews that too much time had passed for a return to the group and expressed regret toward the members.

He also shared that he spent the intervening years moving between home and his studio, focusing intensely on music, adding that he has created many songs he personally wants to hear.

Meanwhile, Nana continues to balance acting and music. In September last year, she released her first solo album, Seventh Heaven 16.
