NMIXX is heading to one of the world's largest festivals. The group will participate in the Brazilian Carnival, marking a historic first for K-pop.
On February 15 (KST), NMIXX will appear as a special guest at Brazilian pop star Pabllo Vittar's block party during the Brazilian Carnival in São Paulo.
A "block party" refers to the massive street celebrations that define Brazil's Carnival culture. NMIXX will become the first K-pop artist to take part in this iconic event, signaling a significant milestone for the genre's global expansion.
Reunion with Pabllo Vittar After 'MEXE'
The appearance also marks a reunion. NMIXX and Pabllo Vittar previously collaborated on the track "MEXE" in August last year. Roughly six months later, they will share the stage again in front of a large Brazilian crowd.
Their agency stated that NMIXX, which has built a strong fanbase in Brazil, is expected to further prove its popularity through this unprecedented Carnival performance.
Meanwhile, NMIXX recently earned five nominations at the 23rd Korean Music Awards, adding to the group's growing global recognition.
