The film Humint is already heating up the box office race. On its opening day, the movie secured the No.1 spot in advance ticket sales, outperforming competing releases.
According to the Korean Film Council's Integrated Computer Network for Box Office Admission Tickets, Humint recorded a 38.5% reservation rate as of 9 AM (KST) on February 11. The film has maintained the top position for five consecutive days.
It also set a new high for advance ticket sales among films released or scheduled for release this year. As of today, 188,283 tickets have been pre-sold, signaling strong anticipation from audiences.
Ryoo Seung-wan Completes Overseas Trilogy
Directed by Ryoo Seung-wan, Humint unfolds in Vladivostok, where secrets and truths sink beneath the icy sea, and individuals with conflicting motives collide.
The project completes the director's overseas-location trilogy, following The Berlin File (2013) and Escape from Mogadishu (2021). Filming took place in Latvia, adding a distinctive international scale to the production.
Humint is now playing in theaters nationwide.
