FIFTY FIFTY has taken part in a tribute project honoring legendary British rock band Pink Floyd.
On February 10, the group uploaded their remake of "Wish You Were Here" to their official YouTube channel. The content was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the original song's release.
FIFTY FIFTY reimagined the iconic track with delicate vocal expression and emotional depth, offering a fresh yet respectful interpretation of the classic.
Seoul's Winter Landscape Amplifies Emotion
The video's cinematic visuals further intensified the mood. Set against the Han River in Seoul during winter, the remake captures themes of loneliness and the emptiness left by someone's absence.
The members shared that it was an honor to participate in such a meaningful project, adding that the experience allowed them to reflect on the authenticity and weight of music.
Member Moon Chanel revealed she has long been a fan of Pink Floyd, describing the band as an artist that influenced her musical sensibility. She expressed hope that FIFTY FIFTY will one day create music that resonates across generations, just as Pink Floyd has.
Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY released the digital single "Too Much Part 1" in November last year.
