BTS has once again proven its global influence, becoming the first Korean artist to grace the covers of fashion magazines across 15 countries.
GQ selected BTS as the cover model for its March issue. The group appears on the covers of editions in Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Spain, and a total of 15 countries and regions worldwide.
Global Spotlight on the "World Star"
In the cover photos, BTS is surrounded by countless cameras, symbolically representing the intense global attention and expectations placed on them. The visual concept underscores their presence as true world stars.
Each of the seven members showcased distinct charms within a natural group dynamic. Through subtle movements and deep, expressive gazes timed with the camera shutters, they highlighted both individuality and unity.
Identity as a Team, Bond with ARMY
The group also shared insights about their upcoming album. "We value the team more than the individual," they said. "We debuted as a team, and that is our identity."
Speaking about ARMY, BTS described the magnitude of fans' love as almost immeasurable. "BTS and ARMY influence each other in a reciprocal relationship," they explained, adding that this awareness makes them reflect deeply on the kind of message they should deliver. "We want to have a positive impact."
BTS will release their new album "ARIRANG" on March 20 at 1 p.m. (KST). A special event, "BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG," is scheduled for March 21.
