IVE offered an early glimpse of their new album on JTBC's Newsroom, raising anticipation for their comeback.
On February 15, IVE appeared on JTBC's Newsroom, where they opened up about their second full-length album REVIVE+, upcoming world tour plans, and the group's growth journey.
From 'BANG BANG' to 'Black Hole'
The members first discussed pre-release track BANG BANG. Jang Wonyoung participated in writing the lyrics, explaining, "We focused on confidence and self-belief as key themes. I tried to express them in a witty way."
The title track is Black Hole. Gaeul described it as "a song that redefines IVE as 'we' and signals a new leap forward." The group also unveiled the point choreography, the "Look at Me" dance, for the first time during the broadcast.
Gearing Up for Second World Tour
Ahead of their second world tour SHOW WHAT I AM, the members shared their excitement. Leeseo said, "We're excited to meet fans from various countries. We're preparing hard to present an even richer performance."
Compared to their previous tour SHOW WHAT I HAVE, the members emphasized growth. An Yujin noted, "Our way of communicating with fans on stage has become more diverse, and our teamwork has grown even stronger."
When asked about future aspirations, Leeseo expressed her desire to be known as a "trustworthy artist," while Rei chose "an artist without limits" as the phrase she hopes to earn.
IVE will release REVIVE+ on February 23 at 6 p.m. KST, marking the start of a new chapter in their evolving narrative.
