MBC's hit Friday–Saturday drama Judge Lee Han Young will return as a special TV movie edition during the Lunar New Year holiday.
MBC announced on February 16 that the series will be re-edited into a two-part TV movie, airing over two consecutive days. The condensed version focuses on the drama's core narrative and key turning points.
From Revenge Plot to Final Judgment
Part 1 covers episodes 1 through 8, centering on Judge Lee Han Young, played by Ji Sung, as he strategically approaches the story's central villain Kang Shin Jin, portrayed by Park Hee Soon.
Part 2 compresses episodes 9 through 14, following Lee Han Young as he teams up with Prosecutor Kim Jin A (Won Jin Ah) and reporter Song Na Yeon (Baek Jin Hee) to expose Kang Shin Jin's corruption.
Judge Lee Han Young is a regression fantasy drama about a judge who returns to the past after a wrongful death and delivers justice to evildoers. The series drew strong viewer response with its fast-paced storytelling and uncompromising portrayal of justice.
The drama premiered with a 4.3% nationwide rating, doubled its viewership within five episodes to surpass 10%, and concluded with a personal best of 14.9%. In the finale, Lee Han Young successfully arrests Kang Shin Jin and sentences him to death.
The TV movie Part 1 airs on February 16 at 1:40 p.m., followed by Part 2 on February 17 at 2:45 p.m., offering viewers a compact revisit of the drama's defining moments.
