j-hope of BTS marked his birthday with meaningful giving, donating a total of 350 million KRW.
On February 18, he contributed 200 million KRW to Seoul Asan Medical Center. The funds will support improvements in medical environments for pediatric and adolescent patients, as well as home-based medical care services.
His generosity also reached students in his hometown. Through Green Umbrella, he donated 100 million KRW in scholarships to help students in the Gwangju region, including Gwangju International High School, continue pursuing their dreams.

j-hope also prepared a donation for animal welfare. He added personal funds to the proceeds from a collaborative product auction with HUMAN MADE, delivering a total of 50 million KRW to an animal protection organization.
"I'm grateful to be able to share in a meaningful way," he said. "I wanted to offer even a small source of strength to children receiving treatment, students nurturing their dreams, and animals in need."
He added, "Thanks to the great love from ARMY, I was able to do something good. I hope 2026 will be a hopeful and warm year for everyone."
