Writer Im Sung-han is set to present a shocking new medical thriller.

On February 19, TV Chosun confirmed that its upcoming weekend drama Doctor Shin, directed by Lee Seung-hoon and written by Im Sung-han, will premiere on March 14.

Doctor Shin is a medical thriller centered on a top star named Momo (played by Baek Se-ra) who falls into a coma, and the strange romantic entanglements of the men who once loved—and still love—her.

Im Sung-han, known for hit dramas such as Miss Mermaid, Princess Aurora, Heaven, My Love, and New Tales of Gisaeng, takes on the medical thriller genre for the first time.

The series will depict how individuals who exchange brains for the sake of love spiral toward catastrophe.

The production team stated, "Im Sung-han has consistently delivered powerful shocks, addictive storytelling, and unique messages with her unpredictable imagination."

They added, "Doctor Shin will be unlike any drama audiences have experienced before and will push the boundaries of the medical thriller genre."
